Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate HGVs to transport drinks to dedicated locations.
- Perform manual labour - full training provided
- Use of trollies, pump trucks, crash mats, ropes - full training provided
- Complete an average of 18 drops during peak season.
- Empty the vehicle of empty kegs upon returning from deliveries.
- Check next day's orders and load them as a team.
- Assist other crews to finish their tasks if your vehicle is prepared for the next day.
- Ensure accuracy in all tasks.
- Ensure timely and efficient loading and unloading of items, utilising proper lifting, and handling techniques to prevent damage.
- Carry out routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any issues promptly to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working conditions.
- Engage courteously with customers, ensuring service expectations and timetables are met.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanour, representing the company positively to customers and the public at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate logistics and ensure smooth operations during deliveries.
Essential Skills:
- Hold a current UK driving license, Class 2 or Class 1, Cat B as a minimum. Cat C or C+E or the willingness to achieve.
