SENIOR FINANCE MANAGER

Salary: £65,000-£75,000

Location: London - hybrid role, 3 days in the office

Our client, a leading supplier of aesthetic medical products and devices, is seeking a dynamic and committed Senior Finance Manager to join their fast-paced finance function. This high-profile role offers the opportunity to drive efficiencies within the financial reporting side of the business, with significant exposure to the executive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing budgeting, forecasting, and providing monthly analysis of performance to support senior management. What you'll do:

As a Senior Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's financial success with responsibilities as follows:

  • Prepare and evolve internal financial reporting including month-end board packs, KPI reporting framework and commercial analysis
  • Review and manage the month-end process and year-end processes
  • Review and manage the forecast, budgeting and strategic planning processes
  • Perform 'deep dive' analysis to understand revenue and cost drivers, identify risks and opportunities
  • Prepare information for the year-end audit and manage auditor relationships
  • Prepare financial information and statutory filings as required by internal and external stakeholders
  • Business partner various departments across the business to support delivery against budget, company strategy, deliver on ad-hoc analysis, provide guidance and challenge
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities in terms of efficiencies across the business so that costs are well understood and managed
  • Support work on cashflow, risk, tax, treasury, strategy and KPI metrics for finance
  • Manage, train and review work performed by the management accountants and other members of the team to ensure quality of output

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Manager role will be a qualified accountant with several years of post-qualification experience. You will bring a strong technical background in financial control and processes, coupled with audit experience. Your strong IT skills and analytical capabilities will enable you to manipulate data effectively to provide accurate and insightful reporting. As an excellent communicator, you will confidently present business cases to senior management and partner with various departments across the business. Experience with systems such as Intact IQ, Power BI, Excel formula, and managing direct reports would be advantageous.

  • Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) several years PQE
  • Strong technical background in financial control and processes
  • Audit experience
  • Very strong IT skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities; comfortable manipulating data to provide accurate and insightful reporting
  • Excellent communicator; able to business partner confidently presenting business cases to Senior Management
  • Experience with Systems - Intact IQ use, Power BI, Excel formula is desirable
  • Experience in managing at least 1 direct report is desirable
