Year 3 Teacher - part time

Posted by Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited.

Your new company
This 2 form entry primary school is looking for a Year 3 teacher to join them in September to teach 2.5 days per week on a Monday-Wednesday with 0.5 PPA on top. This Church of England school is committed to working together to provide a high quality education for all their pupils. This school prides itself on the range of opportunities it provides the children in their care.
Your new role
Your new job as a part-time Year 3 teacher will be to work as part of a job share with another teacher. You will spend your 0.5 PPA time planning alongside the other Year 3 team as you all get PPA time together, so the work load is really shared evenly across everyone. You will therefore be required to plan and deliver the lessons as well as mark the work to school policy and leave a hand-over for the job share ready for the second part of the week.
What you'll need to succeed
As this is a job share post, you must consider yourself to have excellent communication skills and pride yourself on building relationships and being part of a team. Experience of lower key stage 2 or someone who has recently taught a Year 2 class would be great. This job is initially for one term but could extend after Christmas.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will get:- Guaranteed full-time work from September on a part-time basis
- Paid to scale from day 1 (ECT - M6)
- accrual of holiday pay
- option to pay into a private pension
- supported by one dedicated consultant
- £350 in vouchers for every successful referralWhat you need to do now
