Overview
A leading business based in Warwick are seeking a confident, experienced and assured credit controller to strengthen its head office finance team. This role will see you take on a wide variety of duties in a critical credit control role for a large part of the business, for a very large and successful Legal firm.
Joining a large finance team, this position will see you building relationships with debtors, monitoring credit records and performing credit checks, maintenance of client relationships, reconciliation of accounts, liaising with solicitors, negotiating when necessary and dealing with any ad-hoc queries. The team have a family-feel and are long standing, they are really hoping for an individual to fit in with them and stay long-term!
Ideally, you will:
- Have notable previous experience of working in a fast-paced credit control position in a large business (ideally a professional services business), covering a wide breadth of clients and values in the ledger
- Be a naturally organised, confident and assured individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Thrive when working under pressure, and have confidence in your ability to effectively communicate with and tactfully influence debtors
- Have excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel (Including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups to support you with collating date and weekly/monthly reporting)
