MONDAY - FRIDAY: 09.00 - 17.00
35,000 PER ANNUM DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE
People Solutions are currently recruiting for an Accountant for our well-established client based in Tamworth.
This is a full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate will be confident in using Sage 50 & Excel.

Day to Day Duties
As an Accountant, your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Purchase ledger
- Sales ledger
- Run Accounts Department
- Payroll
- Process new starters and leavers
- Basic HR duties
- Audit preparation
Essential Skills
Essential skills needed to be an Accountant with our client are:
- Excellent level of English
- Conversant in Sage 50 Payroll and Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work in a team or alone, prioritising workload and working to strict deadlines
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail both in the preparation and reviewing of data
- Good timekeeping
Desirable Experience
- To have worked within a similar environment
- Preparation of accounts
- Month end tasks, such as prepayments, accruals & depreciation
- VAT returns
Training
Training is provided, together with ongoing support
