This rapidly expanding Ecommerce business are looking for a Conversion Optimisation Manager to join their growing digital team. This is an opportunity to combine your knowledge of conversion optimisation strategies, tools, technologies, data and best practice to design website optimisation and conversion strategies to ensure a frictionless and first-class shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic direction of site conversion optimisation and UX, collaborating with internal teams to deliver best in class customer and sales journeys.
  • Discover and deliver enhancements to the purchase funnel, navigation, categories, product pages, creative, content and layout to maximise conversion, improve UX and minimise dropout/bounce rates.
  • Use data and research to design and deliver the optimisation and experimentation roadmap
  • Use qualitative and quantitative methods and tools, such as analytics, session replay, surveys and usability tests to inform your optimisation strategies and be the voice of the customer at every stage in the user journey.
  • Work with our design team to deliver workflows and wireframes for new or existing functionality or journeys.
  • Play an active role in new business initiatives and projects. Offer guidance and best practice in how to test concepts quickly and accurately.
  • Apply governance across CRO initiatives, and support with embedding robust testing and change pipeline processes and help to build a culture of experimentation and data driven decisioning across the team and wider business.
  • Manage 3rd party relationships and experimentation budget.
  • Assist with UAT to ensure that products/features meet requirements across various user journey personas.

Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrable experience in delivering CRO programmes for large ecommerce websites.
  • Have excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills with a passion for data and the commercial benefits it informs.
  • Knowledge of AB/multivariant testing tools, session replay, research techniques. Previous experience of Dynamic Yield would be beneficial.
  • Able to compile and write reports and presentations which clearly communicate concise insights, recommendations, and strategies.
  • Have a natural drive, curiosity, and will challenge assumptions to ensure decisions are backed up with data.
  • Proficiency with wireframe tools like Figma or Sketch.
  • Experience with a broad suite of experimentation and user testing tools.
  • A genuine passion for UX design, usability, and keeping abreast of industry best practice.
  • High attention to detail and quality of work.

To succeed in this role, you must be ambitious, a self-starter, have a passion for UX and CRO, have experience in a similar role, and be comfortable presenting your strategies to senior stakeholders.

The role offers hybrid working and you'll need to be able to travel to their offices in central Manchester 2/3 days a week.
