Venn Group are excited to be partnering with an Essex based education provider to recruit for an IT Technician on a temporary to permanent contract. As an IT Technician, you will be working within an organisation who have an excellent track record of delivering high quality education to students in Essex.
This IT Technician will be providing first line IT support to a variety of stakeholders. This role involves travel across various sites in Essex so having access to a car is essential.
Rate: £15 - £20 per hour (based on experience) – mileage for travel is paid on top of this
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide personable first-line technical support to students and staff
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks
- Manage Google Workspace accounts and settings for students and staff
- Provide training and support on Google Workspace applications
Requirements:
- Access to a car (mileage will be paid)
- Previous experience providing IT support (minimum 6 months)
- An enhanced DBS check (not essential but will enable a faster onboarding)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience troubleshooting server issues
