We are representing require an experienced Electrical Project Manager for new projects based in London.
Key responsibilities for this role will be:
- Managing the complete project lifecycle from start to completion.
- Working closely with inhouse commercial staff, while overseeing costs of labour, procurement, final accounts etc.
- Liaise and communicate with Estimating & Commercial teams
- Attending weekly progress meetings, design team meetings, client meetings while acting as a company representative.
- Progress reporting, mark ups, labour planning.
- Ensure Health & Safety is adhered too.
- You will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience as an Electrical Project Manager working within the M&E Building Services sector
- You will manage On-site staff & Sub-contractors.
- Assume financial responsibility for projects
- Excellent communication & client facing skills
- An extensive understanding of the current edition of BS7671 and the relevant Codes of Practice.
- Effective problem solving & organisational skills.
- Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative
- Cost control, whilst liaising with the project surveyor to produce monthly cost reporting.
- Quality control.
- Risk control (Programme & Commercial).
- Good level of IT skills
Candidate Requirements:
- You will have Electrical Industry experience.
- Working on projects from £500k - £4m
- Relevant Degree or industry qualifications.
