They are looking for a DV Cleared Network Engineer to join their team and deliver exceptional client service. Your new role
In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues
- Support network security
- Manage and configure network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Implement and maintain network monitoring tools
- Automate network tasks
- Work with other IT professionals to ensure the smooth operation of the network
What you'll need to succeed
- Non-negotiable: Must hold current DV Clearance
- Solid knowledge of networking principles, such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, and security; familiarity with network operating systems, including Linux and Windows Server;
- Experience with network hardware, including firewalls, switches, and routers
- Familiarity with technologies for network monitoring, such as Solarwinds SIEM
- Outstanding troubleshooting abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- The capacity to function both alone and together, while on-site
The ideal candidate will have experience with the following technologies:
- Solaris Unix / Sparx CPU code
- Red Hat Linux
- Windows Server
- Windows Active Directory including group policy
- SharePoint
- Storage SAN, HP 3Par, StoreOnce
- Centralised print management
- High Performance Compute
