Teacher of Humanities - Central London - January Start

We are working alongside a highly popular and overachieving secondary school in Central London to appoint a teacher of Humanities to join their growing and devoted humanities department from January.

The role

As the successful Humanities teacher, your role will consist of teaching History and Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role would appeal to a dynamic ECT or an experienced teacher who is committed to encouraging engagement of pupils in lessons to boost their passion for the subject, as well as enhancing achievement rates across all levels.

The ideal candidate

The school believes the quality of staff is crucial to pupils' success and therefore the successful Humanities teacher must have the following:

  • Degree in History/Geography or an appropriate related subject
  • Ability to teach across KS3/KS4
  • The ability to motivate and inspire interest in the subject area
  • QTS
