Supported Housing Officer needed!
Location: Brent, London
Hours: 37.5 Hours a week
Must have an enhanced DBS Issued within the last 12 months (or on the update service)
Pay: Negotiable
Contract - Ongoing
Job Summary:
- Conduct Personal Housing Plans and Risk assessments
- Support clients in achieving their housing goals
- Assist clients with housing, support needs, and independent living
- Provide advice on tenancy management and report repairs
- Maintain regular client contact to implement housing plans
- Offer budgeting, income maximisation, and debt management support
- Collaborate with agencies to promote health and well-being
- Refer clients to specialist organisations as needed
- Liaise with partners during tenancy breakdowns
- Attend multi-agency meetings to advocate for clients
- Perform regular visits and provide monthly statistics
Experience Required:
- Minimum two years in support work or similar setting
- Ability to build nonjudgmental relationships with vulnerable clients
- Experience with homelessness and mental health issues
- Strong communication skills with clients and peers
- Independent work ethic with time management skills
- Positive liaison with other agencies
