We are looking for a Learning and Development Business Advisor to provide Learning and Development services to both internal and external customers of the Together Housing Group and other organisations.

Requirements

Outline of Key Responsibilities for the Learning and Development Business Advisor...

  • Providing support to training courses where required across the business, liaising with internal & external providers. For example, co-ordination of training and training materials where required, venue sourcing, scheduling trainers, ordering training materials, handling queries regarding courses and generate various reports regarding training events.
  • Supporting all areas of administration of learning activities eg. arranging meetings, attending 121 and team meetings to ensure effective & efficient delivery.
  • To attend meetings with staff, consultants and customers to contribute to the effective delivery of the Learning and Development Service and to highlight and recommend appropriate action.
  • Give updates on training information to stakeholders, vendors and colleagues and help to solve day-to-day problems and escalate where appropriate.
  • Day to day line management responsibility for apprenticeships working within the Learning and Development team. Oversee, coach, monitor progress on the apprenticeship programme. Scheduling work hours around the needs of the service. Co-ordinating tasks and attendance of apprentice on training programmes. Sharing THG updates.

We are looking for someone who has...

  • Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, work under pressure and deliver targets within deadlines
  • To work the flexible hours required by our customers and to travel through our geographically dispersed region by car, which will involve occasional planned overnight stays.
  • Proven experience of customer service focused work in either a face-to-face or telephone environment.
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues, taking initiative and demonstrating self-motivation to achieve results.
  • Someone who is self-motivated and resilient.
  • Ability to use various IT Systems including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience of working in a customer service environment
  • Full UK Driving Licence
