We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Shift Manager (Nightshift) for one of our clients based in Milton Keynes a global manufacturing company

Duties & scope of the role:
- Manage team and site on the night shift
- Control and ensure site KPI's are met including cost and delivery
- Adhering to customers service level agreements
- Continuous improvement
- Improve production yields and reducing unnecessary processes
- Implementation of lean manufacturing & 5S
- Working closely with other Shift Managers
- Co-co-ordinating training and managing labour
- Measuring/collating of statistics and reporting
- Health, safety and environmental awareness ensuring all factors monitored on shift
- Handle disciplinary, grievance, appraisals
- We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and attributes:
- Previous experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment FMCG
Excellent knowledge of the Lean principles
- IOSH or NEBOSH
- Manufacturing/Engineering Degree (preferred)
- Six Sigma or Lean certification
Shift pattern:
18.00-06.00 3 shifts per week Sunday/Monday/Tuesday for 4 weeks & Wednesday/Thursday/Friday (Saturdays on a rota during peak period)
