IT Systems & Support Manager

£45,000 - £55,000 (Negotiable + Annual Bonus)

Nicholas Hendry has partnered with a well-known local and international employer in Dundee to source an experienced IT Systems & Support manager to help support the business with their services and systems offerings in a highly technical market.

We seek a driven individual to lead & develop the IT department with our established, locally based international company. In post you'll enjoy the stability & support of large organisation, coupled with the excitement of shaping a growing, unique business. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity, that also offers hybrid working flexibility.

Responsibilities

  • Work with management at UK and Group level to define strategic roadmaps for technologies, enabling the business to achieve organisational goals, policies, and procedures
  • Educate and support managers across the business in the use of data to achieve greater control of processes, resources and productivity
  • Provide support and guidance related to the integration of new business acquisitions within the systems landscape.
  • Achieve and exceed defined departmental/ business and customer SLA and KPI targets
  • Analyse product performance and continually improve to reduce intervention rates
  • Testing of new hardware and software prior to roll out (to include Unit, UAT and Regression testing)
  • Integrate existing internal and external facing product support teams into a single Systems Team
  • Ensure service team is managed, mentored, and developed by instilling culture and process to support delivery of individual and team objectives

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of having led systems, and development teams within highly technical and complex businesses, and/or perhaps in a more direct service desk environment.

You'll also work closely with senior stakeholders both internally & externally to the business and as such a strong technical awareness, coupled with strong communications skills is a must.

Equally, should you have any previous experience in a technical and/or programming role throughout your career this would be a highly advantageous although not required!
