Responsibilities:
- Cleaning Machinery:
As a Warehouse Equipment Cleaner and Operator, you will be responsible for performing industrial cleaning of warehouse machinery and equipment according to company standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will ensure the smooth operation of the machinery.
- Equipment Checks:
After completing each cleaning task, you will conduct specific equipment checks to ensure that all machinery is in optimal operating condition. Any defects or issues you identify during your checks should be reported promptly to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
- Safety and Hazard Inspection:
Maintaining a safe work environment is crucial. As part of your responsibilities, you will inspect work areas for hazards or safety concerns, taking appropriate measures to address them. Your adherence to housekeeping standards will contribute to a safe workplace.
- Operation of Lifting Equipment:
In addition to cleaning, you will also operate mobile plant equipment, such as scissor lifts and cherry pickers, for high-level cleaning activities. Your ability to operate lifting equipment safely and efficiently is essential in completing cleaning tasks.
Qualifications:
- No prior experience is necessary for this role. Our client will provide the necessary training to equip you with the skills and knowledge required.
