Key Responsibilities:

As an Audit Team Leader, your role will be crucial in guiding and mentoring our junior staff while maintaining the highest standards of audit quality and accuracy. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with managers and directors on audit risk assessments and strategic planning.
  • Ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of audit assignments.
  • Providing guidance and support to junior staff, both on-site and remotely.
  • Liaising with clients throughout the audit process, from planning and fieldwork to completion.
  • Participating actively in the training and development of ACA students and contributing to the staff review process.

What We're Looking For:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Recently qualified or experienced ACA or ACCA credentials supported by Audit experience within a UK-based practice for at least 2 years.
  • Strong technical skills with extensive experience in statutory audit and accounts preparation.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of FRS 102 & ISAs; knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-oriented approach.
  • A 'can-do' attitude, with the ability to delegate and supervise junior staff effectively.
  • The capacity to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Proficiency in IT and a readiness to adapt to technological changes.
