Location: Chigwell, Essex
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Hours: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our client's team and manage a portfolio of residential properties. You will work closely with the Lettings team, ensuring all properties are maintained to a high standard while adhering to current Lettings legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage repair and maintenance issues across multiple properties.
  • Organise property inspections, tenant check-ins, and check-outs.
  • Handle gas safety checks, electrical inspections, and EPC certificates.
  • Coordinate with utility companies and organise tenant move-ins and move-outs.
  • Schedule and liaise with cleaning and maintenance contractors.
  • Maintain strong communication with landlords and tenants.
  • Ensure compliance with property legislation such as EPC, gas, electric, health, and safety regulations.
  • Handle landlord licensing and serve notices, including eviction paperwork.
  • Attend court when necessary, supporting eviction proceedings.
  • Update the property management system with all notes, repairs, and tenant communications.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in property management.
  • In-depth knowledge of current Lettings legislation, including Section 21 reforms.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • ARLA Propertymark exams are highly desirable.
