This role will be working with a prestigious client in the Rail sector, managing a large team working nightshifts at their depot in Derby.

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Contract Manager covering nightshifts who will oversee all cleaning and associated duties carried out by all those that you are responsible for supervising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing up to 50 train cleaning operatives across day and night shifts.
  • Conducting cleaning audits on a nightly basis to ensure that standards being maintained.
  • Take ownership for financial overtime and stock control ensuring robust practices are in place for the management and reporting of these of processes.
  • Ensure all training requirements are in place and that staff are suitably trained to undertake their role and fulfil their responsibilities whilst being a mentor for development.
  • You will lead in the supervision of the site/client contract, ensuring that services meet the requirements of interface with the clients, service providers and stakeholders, to ensure the expectations are being met and any additional services can be supported. About You: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • You will have experience in implementing, reviewing, and achieving high standards for safety, quality, cost, and an interactive, open door management style.
  • Willingness to work night and weekend shifts.
  • You will need to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test prior to starting in this role.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Management experience in a cleaning or soft services role or Train Presentation.
  • COSHH trained.
  • Flexibility to work weekends as required.
