Salary up to £31,000 - OTE £34,000
My client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Parts Advisor to join their team in Newbury, Berkshire. You will be responsible for overseeing a small team, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring efficient parts operations.
Previous experience as a Parts Advisor is required and I would encourage you to apply if you have Parts and Service Advisor experience and live in the Newbury, Berkshire area!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop a small team of Parts Advisors, providing guidance, training, and support.
- Efficiently process parts orders and inquiries from both internal and external customers.
- Maintain optimal stock levels and manage parts inventory.
- Utilise DMS systems (Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar) to accurately manage parts data and processes.
- Collaborate with the After sales Manager to achieve department goals and objectives.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Ensure adherence to dealership policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an Automotive Parts department.
- Proven experience in using DMS systems (Kerridge, Pinnacle, or similar).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Full UK driving license.
