Our client Wessex Fire & Security is a family run company based in Dorset with over 30 years' experience in the Fire & Security industry both in domestic and commercial settings. They are looking for a Service support administrator to join our team on a full-time basis, based at their Head Office in Shaftesbury.

You will be liaising with the wider team across the business along with engineers and customers to ensure we exceed our clients' expectations. The nature of this role requires a focused and driven individual with good attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Reporting to a department Team Leader, you will be undertaking a wide range of administration tasks across the business to ensure the smooth operation of the company's business activities on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities Customer Support Administrator:

  • Assist the team leader with administration tasks and needs as required for the business and wider team to promote and achieve the companies' values and deliver service excellence to our large customer base.
  • Manage the phone system with the wider team to answer, divert, allocate and log phone calls.
  • Receive and allocate phone payments for the large customer base.
  • Assist the team with client accounts with any queries relating to costings submitted, programmed works, and company certification for completed works.
  • Provide unrivalled customer service on all fronts delivering frontline support to the wide customer base on a range of our contracts and services including booking appointments, analysing customer accounts, and maintaining compliance.
  • Update customer details, accounts, and systems to maintain compliance and accuracy for the customers we support.
  • Attend in house and external training courses when required.
  • The list of tasks is inclusive but not an exhaustive list and you may be required to help the wider team in further roles in times of holiday, sickness, and to meet the business needs and demands.

Essential Competencies Customer Support Administrator:

  • Background knowledge in a FM industry role advantageous but not essential
  • Good all round knowledge and ability of customer telephone support
  • A can do attitude and the ability to promote the company's core values
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and processes to complete day to day tasks
  • Approachable, professional, and present the company image at all times
  • Ability to deliver and maintain exceptional customer levels across our customer base
  • Ability to manage queries, complaints and customer accounts and requests to reach resolve while maintaining high levels of customer service
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook essential
  • Ability to self-sufficiently manage workflow and have a strong eye for detail
  • Be approachable and informative to all customers and colleagues to deliver customer excellence

All subject to qualifying periods of employment and Conditions of Contract.

Salary: £25,000 per annum (negotiable doe)

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift (40 hours per week)
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
