On behalf of our client, we are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst to join a dynamic Data Strategy Project team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in improving how data is managed, consumed, and valued within the business. Your analytical skills and data expertise will help solve complex business problems and deliver impactful data products.
PLEASE NOTE: This is an onsite role, meaning the succesful candidate must live within a commutable distance of Bury St. Edmunds. All candidates must be able to demonstrate experience of complex business data challenges and experience with data mining tools.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Data Interrogation: Examine and interpret complex business data sources to extract meaningful insights.
- Analysis: Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that inform business decisions.
- Data Cleansing: Ensure data quality by performing data cleansing, validation, and enrichment activities.
- Product Delivery: Support the development and delivery of data products that solve business problems and drive value.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Reporting: Create clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
**Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data analysis, with a strong ability to interrogate and interpret business data sources.
- Proficiency in data cleansing techniques to ensure high data quality and accuracy.
- Experience in delivering data products and solutions that address business challenges.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
