HR Admin Assistant

My fantastic client based in Chilwell and Old Basford are looking for a part time (30hours) HR Admin Assistant to join them on an immediate start.

They are undergoing a huge period of growth and expansion which includes moving to new premisies in Chilwell which is wherebthe role will be primarily based. There will be requirements for occasional travel to the site in Old Basford.

Although formal HR qualifications are not needed for the job role, a good knowledge of HR functions are essential.

Duties will include the following:

HR Admin

  • General HR Filing/Archiving
  • Maintain right to work database
  • Maintain holiday and pension databases
  • Monthly HR report data
  • Conduct the HR new staff inductions
  • Staff statistics to Health and Safety Manager
  • Monthly review of the organisational structure
  • Collate references for new starters

Absence

  • Monitor that all RTW and attendance meetings are undertaken and documented
  • Collate all absence paperwork
  • Alert staff/managers of trigger points that have been hit
  • Produce the absence data on a monthly basis for payroll

Training and Development

  • Distribute company HR policies and ensure all are signed off
  • Assist in collating, monitoring and recording T&D data

HR Software

  • Staff training on Sage HR
  • Updating all staffing changes
  • Update bank holidays/Christmas closure as needed

Staff Engagement

  • Be a member of the social committee
  • Assist with internal staff events

Staff Benefits

  • Confirmation in post meetings to explain benefits
  • Monitor uniform levels to keep consistent stock levels

Communication

  • HR standard letters (confirmation in post/changes in T&C's)
  • Announce all new members of staff
  • Send staff info to be put on the TV's
  • HR monthly update
  • To endorse, demonstrate and uphold the company values

Working Safety

  • To ensure that necessary safety equipment (PPE) is worn as required. This includes footwear, overalls, masks, goggles and any other required to safely complete the task
  • To be responsible for cleaning any spillages from your PPE and maintain all garments in a safe and efficient state

Working hours can fit around school hours should this be needed and will be Monday to Friday.
