We are seeking a General Assistant to join their dynamic team. As a General Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's facilities within the fishing industry.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the team to maintain a constant flow of 4kg plastic fish-boxes onto the conveyor throughout your shift.
Operate the washing machine to clean the boxes, ensuring excellent hygiene standards are maintained.
Remove the cleaned boxes for reuse, ensuring they are ready for our client's customers.
Adhere to health and safety protocols, wearing provided PPE to ensure your protection.
Embrace the physical demands of the role, as the conveyor runs continuously throughout your shift.
This is a temporary position that offers an hourly rate of £12.97. You will be required to work Monday to Friday from 6am to 3pm, with two 30-minute breaks during your shift. Our client recognises the importance of work-life balance and prioritises the well-being of their employees.
