Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Morley area of Leeds as they look to recruit a Credit Controller into their team on a full time, permanent basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Finance Department to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters
- Resolving Invoice and payment queries by phone and email
- Processing customer special arrangements and amendments to invoices as required and ensure the relevant team members are informed of changes
- Raising of sales invoices and credit notes
- Allocation and posting of cash to ledgers daily
- Issuing of monthly statements
- Preparing and maintain large spreadsheets regarding debt control and updating in Sage
- Building relationships with customers to improve number of debtors and days
- Planning, organising and managing own workload to ensure your contribution to the company's monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner
- Assisting the implementation of new policies and procedures, and documenting them
- Assisting with annual external audi
- Providing ad hoc support when required by the Financial Controller and Senior Management Team
