Credit Controller (Temporary Contract)

Are you a detail-oriented Credit Controller with a modern approach and a ‘can-do' attitude? We are looking for a temporary Credit Controller to join our finance team and help maintain the financial health of our customer accounts. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable and will last until January 2025. Day to Day of the Role:
- Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received in a timely manner.
- Process and send out monthly statements to customers.
- Post daily cash bank transactions with precision.
- Keep the Aged Debtor report up to date, providing clear visibility on account statuses.
- Address and resolve any payment discrepancies, disputes, and billing issues that arise.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of customers' payment histories and communication logs.
- Ensure strict adherence to the company's credit insurance policy, safeguarding our financial interests.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Advanced communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage customer interactions.
- A modern approach to credit control, with a proactive and positive ‘can-do' attitude.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to stay organized and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Sage Line 50 and Sage Intacct is essential.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel to manage and analyse financial data.
