HR Business Partner

Element Recruitment are working with an established Public Sector organisation in Bristol who are looking for a HR Business Partner to join them on a 10 month fixed term contract. As a HR Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing professional advisory services to managers at all levels on operational HR management, contributing to the development of corporate HR policy, and offering business partnering support in relation to HR policy and employee matters.

Duties:

  • Provide professional advisory service to managers on operational aspects of HR management
  • Contribute to workforce planning and people-related activities
  • Offer guidance on employment legislation and policy implementation
  • Support managers in misconduct, performance, attendance, or capability-related issues
  • Assist in management of change, restructuring programs, redundancy, and job evaluation
  • Participate in training interventions and projects to improve service provision
  • Facilitate resolution of employee conflicts and develop professional capability

Requirements:

  • Significant professional HR experience and up-to-date knowledge of current HR issues
  • Understanding of employment law and people management theory
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrable compassion, empathy, and ability to develop good working relationships
  • Degree or equivalent qualification/experience in HR management

This role offers hybrid working in Central Bristol, paying £40,000 - £45,000 per year with a very competitive benefits package.
