CMA is partnering with a fast growth manufacturing business based in Waterlooville to recruit a newly created role of Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will report into the Financial Controller.
What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?
- Daily postings to the bank;
- Bank reconciliation;
- Balance sheet reconciliation;
- Ownership of credit control function;
- Assisting with purchase ledger;
- Month end including fixed assets, general ledger and prepayments/accruals;
- Ad hoc duties.
Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:
- AAT/ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience;
- Sage experience would be advantageous but not essential;
- Manufacturing experience is desirable;
- Growth mindset and ability to grow with the role as the organisation grows.
