We partner with Arup to support contingent recruitment processes. On behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Front of House Receptionist for a 6-month long contract based in Newcastle.

About the opportunity

Based in Newcastle we have an exciting opportunity for a Front of House - Workplace Experience Assistant to provide robust support to the Newcastle office as part of the Workplace Facilities Management Team, focused on clients, staff, and visitor experience within our office environment and as part of a wider team.

This role offers a full range of administrative support, including management of reception and visitor spaces, meeting rooms and break out spaces, welcoming visitors and staff, being pro-active and flexible with tasks, having excellent computer skills in MS Office and a willingness to learn new software, building strong relationships, taking ownership of tasks while considering the bigger picture, and managing your own resilience.

The ideal candidate is positive, organised, and poised, with a growth mindset and a passion for continuous professional development. If you're resourceful, resilient, and always looking for ways to make tasks more efficient, we'd love to hear from you!

This role is office based due to the nature of the responsibilities in relation to reception and front of house.

We are looking for people who:

  • Have experience of online systems to do with timesheets, meeting room booking, etc.
  • Have the ability to build strong relationships in a complex environment.
  • Can take ownership of local space and take pride in the presentation of office with the ability to use own initiative.
