HR Consultant - Restructure

Artis HR are supporting a Large multi national Technology provider to deliver support to a business unit restructure. This role, reporting to the HR VP for EMEA will support a specific aspect of the restructure.

You will collaborate closely with our HR team and leadership to execute a smooth and effective restructuring process. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around coordinating a Reduction in Force (RIF) program, leading consultation efforts, ensuring clear and effective employee communication, and providing support for local HR teams in addressing complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR leadership and project teams to design and execute a comprehensive restructuring plan.
  • Coordinate and oversee RIF programs across various countries, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Lead consultation processes, engaging with employee representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure a fair and transparent transition.
  • Develop clear and effective communication strategies for impacted employees, delivering sensitive information with empathy and professionalism.
  • Provide expert guidance to local HR teams on complex employee issues, ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and review documentation related to the restructuring process, including separation agreements, communication materials, and legal requirements.
  • Monitor project progress and milestones, identifying potential challenges and proposing solutions to ensure successful execution.
  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment, upholding the company's values and promoting open communication.
  • Be able to run other ad hoc projects as appropriate
  • Proven experience in organisational restructuring, and change management.
  • Strong understanding of labour laws and regulations, with the ability to navigate complex employment issues including Labour unions and Works Councils.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey sensitive information with empathy.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, capable of handling complex data and documentation accurately.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally, as required, to support project needs.
