Application Support Analyst/Developer
This is a great opportunity to join a development team in a role covering both application support and development. This person will handle day-to-day queries and issues relating to software applications managed and developed by the team.
You will rotate through the different teams to gain a broad understanding of all the applications that the business manage and maintain.
You will collaborate with the Development Team and Lead Developer to ensure that issues are resolved and fully tested before delivery.
This is a home based role (or you can use the Tamworth offices)
Qualifications/Experience/Knowledge
- Experience using the following technologies and languages:
o Microsoft .Net Framework
o Developing WinForms application
o VB .Net and C# programming languages
o ASP.Net Web Forms
o SQL Server (TSQL development)
o SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
o Azure DevOps and GIT
- Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry would be advantageous
Responsibilities
- To ensure that the company's vision and values are upheld when dealing with staff/customers and third parties
- Ensure output of work is to a high standard, fully compliant within the industry regulations, fully tested and delivered within an acceptable time frame
- Triage incident requests
- Fix incident requests
- Deal with Ad Hoc Data Requests
- Deal with Report Requests
- Respond to general user queries relating to applications we manage and develop

This is a home-based role, a midlands base would be useful for very occasional travel to Tamworth (Staffordshire), or if you live locally you can use the offices if you prefer.
