An outstanding Primary School in Croydon is seeking a School Business Manager to join their team immediately. This is a temporary role for 3 months, with the potential to become a permanent contract. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a passion for education management and a track record of success in similar managerial roles.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the school's budget, financial planning, and procurement processes to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Manage the school's premises, ensuring health & safety compliance and optimal facility utilization.
- Supervise administrative staff, oversee HR procedures, and manage school data to support the school's operations.
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team on strategic initiatives, contributing to long-term planning and resource allocation.
- Engage with the community, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, liaising with external partners, and representing the school within the community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a managerial role, ideally within an educational setting.
- Strong financial acumen and proven budget management skills.
- Exceptional organisational and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and IT systems.
- A valid DBS on the update service is essential.
