Senior Tech Specialist - B2C (Developer)

The Cyber Security Department at Sky is responsible for creating a cyber-resilient business which is capable of detecting, responding, and recovering from threats to our organisation at pace.

You will be a key member of the B2C team responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our directory integrations. You will be expected to ensure that authentications are running optimally and securely in order to meet the needs of the Organisation. This position requires a strong technical background as well as excellent communication skills.

What you'll do:

  • Support, maintain and enhance Sky's B2C solution and platform.
  • Design, build, deploy, monitor and support Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
  • Work proactively with operational teams and vendors to resolve incidents and service requests.
  • Work collaboratively with teams across different territories and areas of Sky, building relationships and helping the business migrate from legacy platforms.
  • Maintain a high level of security awareness and work with our Cybersecurity Teams to protect Sky's IT Systems and reputation.
  • Provide and maintain internal procedural and technical documentation.
  • Mentoring and support for other members of the Team.
  • Ensure all activities and duties are carried out in strict compliance of our regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures, particularly change control.

What you'll bring:

  • Strong experience with Azure AD, Azure AD B2C and Microsoft Graph including Identity Experience Framework and developing Azure AD B2C user flows and custom policies.
  • Strong experience managing Azure IaaS, PaaS services in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Have experience with configuring and managing Azure DevOps projects and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Be familiar with Azure CLI, PowerShell, Bicep and ARM templates.
  • Be a subject matter expert on modern authentication protocols e.g., OIDC, OAuth2 and SAML.
  • Have excellent security awareness including standards e.g., IS027001, NIST and CIS.
  • Have a good understanding of development frameworks and languages - C#, Razor languages and .NET/Core frameworks, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Have a good understanding of Web APIs including SOAP, REST and GraphQL architectures.
