looking for a stable, Monday-to-Friday role with no weekend shifts?
Join a reputable, family-run used car dealership in Croydon that values quality, work-life balance, and a supportive team environment. We're currently recruiting a Professional PDI Technician to inspect, prepare, and ensure used vehicles are roadworthy and meet high standards.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on used cars, ensuring vehicles are fault-free and safe for sale
- Diagnose and repair faults identified during the PDI process using diagnostic tools
- Prepare approximately 2 vehicles per day, maintaining consistent quality and efficiency
- Ensure every vehicle is fully roadworthy and meets manufacturer and safety standards
- Maintain detailed records of inspections and repairs
What You'll Need:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance
- Proven experience working as a PDI Technician or in used vehicle inspection and preparation
- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics and fault finding
- Excellent attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to work efficiently and independently within a small, close-knit team
- Passion for maintaining high standards and customer satisfaction
