We are seeking an Interim Interim Financial Controller to take charge of our client's financial operations during a period of transition based in Maidstone. This role involves close collaboration with the executive team to deliver critical management and financial information that will influence strategic decision-making. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be instrumental in steering the financial management of the company and supporting our ambitious growth plans. **Interim Financial Controller Day-to-day of the role:
- Prepare and present accurate business information, financial statements, and reports to the Senior Leadership Team.
- Ensure compliance with UK financial reporting standards and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.
- Oversee all day-to-day financial operations of the business, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and reporting.
- Lead and develop the finance team, setting performance goals, providing feedback, and conducting evaluations.
- Develop and implement financial procedures, manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risks.
- Monitor financial performance and ensure compliance with UK and global regulations.
- Manage international multi-currency transactions and financial operations.
**Interim Financial Controller Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in financial management and reporting.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and mentoring.
- Expertise in UK financial reporting standards and maintaining financial controls.
- Expertise in Multi-currency and International VAT reporting.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Ability to manage multi-currency transactions and international financial operations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the Finance Department as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
