Pay Rate: £11.44 to £13.50 depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

As a School Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the school. Your excellent organisational skills will be put to use as you assist with various administrative tasks and provide essential support to the teaching staff. If you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and possess a friendly and approachable demeanour, this could be the perfect role for you!

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing school records, including student attendance and academic performance.
  • Assisting in the organisation of school events, such as parent-teacher conferences and sports days.
  • Providing administrative support to the teaching staff and senior management team
  • Responding to inquiries from parents, students, and external stakeholders via phone, email, and in person
  • Maintaining office supplies and equipment inventory
  • Updating and managing the school's database and filing systems

What we're looking for:

  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, able to work accurately and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, and staff members
  • Proficiency in using office software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, SIMS would be advantageous
  • Previous administrative experience in an educational setting would be advantageous
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Work with sensitivity and with understanding
