Jenson Fisher are delighted to be supporting our long established client based in Perth to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent, full time basis. Reporting into the Company Accountant, this role has been created as a result of business growth and on a day to day basis you will be tasked with demonstrating your previous experience working in a similar position with your remit stretching from purchase ledger and sales ledger to reconciling the bank, producing VAT returns and supporting the accountant during the month end process.
As the Accounts Assistant your responsibilities will include:
- Purchase ledger processing including reconciling supplier statements.
- Sales ledger including issuing statements, resolving invoice queries and initial credit control steps.
- Collation of time and attendance for payroll and passing to the Accountant for processing.
- Bank reconciliations on a weekly basis.
- Calculating accruals and prepayments alongside journal entries.
- Daily use of Microsoft Excel and Xero.
