Excellent opportunity on offer for a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer, looking to join a well established company, offering a chance to develop both mechanical and electrical skills.
Do you have experience as a Maintenance Engineer? Are you looking to develop your skills and grow within a company?
This company are a long-standing, manufacturing company who specialise in the manufacture of packaging products for a range of industries, but mostly the chemical and paint industries. They work with the latest technology and equipment to manufacture specialist solutions to specific industries.
You will be working with a range of manufacturing machinery, working on mechanical components such as hydraulics and pneumatics, conducting both preventative and reactive maintenance. There will also be an element of basic electrical work, working with PLCs, motors and pumps on various machinery.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Maintenance role, will be mechanically biased, but also have a basic electrical understanding. Ideally the candidate will have experience with industrial machinery, pneumatic and hydraulic components. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company, with the opportunity to widen your skill-set.
The Role:
- Mechanical maintenance including pneumatics and hydraulics
- Preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery
- Basic electrical maintenance, PLC faultfinding
- £35,000-£40000 + Progression + Training + Holiday + Pension + Overtime Opportunities
The Person:
- Previous maintenance experience
- A good knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
- Mechanical/electrical skillset
