Yolk Recruitment are searching for an Industrial Engineer to work with a renowned Aerospace company that is at the forefront of space exploration and travel.
The successful candidate will work with suppliers around the world and be a key interface with the UK design engineering team on product change activities.
Flexibility and some travel will be required.
Responsibilities
- Proactively engage in the Continuous Product Development processes, applying expertise in concurrent engineering and industrialisation aspects
- Understand and influence cost drivers of a particular product or work packages
- Ensure integration, architecture and engagement of the wider business network
- To proactively manage risks and opportunities in an efficient and effective manner.
- Drawing Sign Off, Query Note validation, Tooling Asset Management
- Seek continuous improvement to suppliers capability be that product or process, standardising and harmonising across the business,
- Maintain associated technical documentation and seek to assure supplier compliance
Essentials
- Project Management/ Personnel experience
- Milestone management
- Sitting in design reviews.
- Understanding of drawings
- Experience in CAD
