An Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" secondary school in the South Bucks area is seeking a professional, friendly, and organised receptionist to join their front office team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with at least one year of receptionist experience at a school looking to work in a dynamic and supportive school environment.
As the receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors, playing a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring the smooth operation of the school office.
**Key responsibilities of the receptionist role include:
- Managing incoming calls, emails, and in-person enquiries in a professional and efficient manner
- Greeting and assisting all visitors, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
- Supporting daily school administration and liaising with staff and leadership
- Maintaining accurate records and handling confidential information appropriately
- Supporting attendance and student data systems as needed
- Assisting with scheduling meetings and maintaining school calendars
- Providing general office support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
**The ideal receptionist candidate will have:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role at a school
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
