3 Shift rota pattern: Week 1: Days, Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00
Week 2: Nights, Sunday to Thursday, 22:00 – 06:00
Week 3: Afternoons, Monday to Friday, 14:00 – 22:00
We are currently looking to expand our team of Maintenance Technicians at the UK's leading paper packaging manufacturing plant in Newport. If you're an enthusiastic engineer that comes from a FMCG/Packaging background then this is the role for you! This Maintenance Technician role will involve a full 6 month training programme - including a week in either Germany or The USA, setting up and stripping down machinery, fault-finding and corrective maintenance, planned maintenance and responding to reactive breakdowns.

Experience Required:
- Mechanically Qualified (BTEC/NVQ Level 3) OR 3 years post apprentice trained.
- An understanding of mechanical drawings.
- Previously worked in Packaging/Bottling/FMCG is preferred.
- Within a commutable distance to Newport, Wales.
