Role
You will required to provide day to day support which will include cooking, shopping, personal care and visiting family and friends..Also providing support to achieve goals and aspirations as going to college and holiday. You will need to have access to a car because of the services rural location. All applications will be subject to DBS check
Job specification
- Minimum of 6 months experience working in a care setting (preferably learning disability) with checkable UK references
- Must be patient, kind and compassionate and calm in difficult situations
- Be confident with and resilient with service users that can display behaviour defined as challenging
- Have an excellent work ethic and be reliable
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be friendly, approachable and have a sense of humour
- Must have access to a car
