Robert Half is recruiting a Finance Assistant for our client near Hatfield, on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis to cover maternity.
The position of Finance Assistant will be varied and focus on the following skills and experience;
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- To support the Financial Controller, Managing Director and on-site Managers by managing the financial aspects and various services offered by the Business.
- Assist with ad hoc analysis and reporting to add value to our existing customers.
- To monitor adherence to the purchases of dedicated products within the portfolio.
- Reconciliation of Financial reports, to be completed accurately and by agreed deadlines.
- To monitor underwriting performance and, under delegated responsibility, make recommendations for improvements if necessary.
- To set-up, monitor and maintain adequate systems to report on sales and underwriting both to internal and external customers/partners.
- Various transactional ledger duties as required.

The position of Finance Assistant will be paying up to £29k on a Fixed Term Contract basis. This role will be office based initially, with some hybrid working allowed after probation.
