Full Job Description
Meraki Talent is currently looking to recruit a
Shipping Solicitor (NQ to 2 PQE)
to join a renowned Legal 500 ranked national firm in Surrey, London. This opportunity is offered on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills by working with an experienced team of lawyers. You can also expect complex, varied and interesting Shipping matters.
Duties and responsibilities of the Shipping Solicitor:
- To advise and assist clients on a broad range of shipping matters that can include commodity trade dispute cases, marine insurance advice, carriage of goods, trading/commodity contract problems, major casualties, charter party disputes amongst others
- You will get the opportunity to work closely with the Partners in the team
Background of the Shipping Solicitor:
- Qualified lawyer having completed a seat in shipping law.
- Experience working on insurance matters is an advantage
- Open to relocating to Surrey
- Confident at drafting and liaising with clients
