The Role: Director of Field Services

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Field Services to lead and inspire our field services teams. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring a consistently high level of service to our customers, managing performance, P&L, and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

You will drive a culture of safety and excellence, ensuring that our teams are motivated, well-trained, and equipped to deliver outstanding service. Your strategic vision will contribute to the development and execution of long-term goals for the Field Services division, ensuring we continue to grow and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management: Lead and manage multi-disciplined field service teams, fostering a high-performance culture that prioritizes safety and customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the operational budget with a focus on productivity, cost optimization, and quality. Ensure adherence to processes and procedures to meet KPIs and objectives.
  • Strategic Development: Collaborate with various departments to implement strategies that drive customer satisfaction and identify future business growth opportunities.
  • Transformation: Deliver the Field Services transformation program to elevate customer experience, improve service scalability, and enhance operational agility.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of escalation for customer issues related to field services. Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

  • Extensive experience in managing multi-disciplined field service operations at a senior level.
  • Proven track record in budget management and financial accountability.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and developing high-performance teams.
  • Experience in customer relationship management and issue resolution.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of field service operations, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with field service management software and tools.
  • Commitment to safety, continuous improvement, and customer-focused service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • A good standard of general education (e.g., GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths).
  • Bachelor's degree or higher education in business management or a related field (desirable).

Other Requirements:

  • No unspent criminal convictions.
  • Proven eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Willingness to travel and work in other business locations as required.
