Our client is a rapidly growing tech start-up in South Manchester, and they are looking for an HR Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the growth of a dynamic and innovative company.
As the HR Advisor you will be responsible for overseeing HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations as well as initally being responsible for managing the the day-to-day operations of the office, including overseeing administrative tasks, managing office supplies, coordinating office events, and supporting the executive team. The main duties and responsibilities will include:-
- Overseeing the recruitment requirements
- Onboarding new employees
- Coordinating new starter inductions
- Managing the 1-month and 3-month probation reviews (scheduling, attending, taking the notes necessary and following up with confirmation letters
- Managing absences (sicknesses and holidays)
- Managing termination processes
- Building a Culture Pack and implementing this internally - creating a positive working environment
- Keeping abreast of legislation. Implementing and communicating changes as necessary to keep the business legally compliant
- Owning the ongoing review of the Staff Handbook and amending as necessary
- Keeping the office fully stocked
- Liaising with Landlords when remedial works are required (i.e. broken fridge, faulty air conditioning)
- Managing the cleaning schedule
- Ordering stationary / office supplies
- Assisting with the Event Management (mainly in house staff events. Not corporate activities - This will be done by the EA)
- Ad hoc tasks as required
