Do you have administration or coordination experience, looking to join a successful, fast growing company which provides agricultural machinery and heavy plant across a range of industries, where you will be joining a friendly team, in a crucial and varied role which has the potential to develop as you expand your skills and experience?
Are you looking for a multi-faceted, versatile role where you will assist across different areas of the business, primarily looking after the administration duties of the Service Department; assisting the Parts Manager and Operations Manager, but also scheduling the Field Engineers to ensure customer satisfaction, where you will receive ongoing training and development whilst retaining excellent work / life balance in a beautiful rural location?
The company supply a range of products, including agricultural and heavy plant machinery to industries like Recycling, Forestry and Demolition. It is a family owned business, which prides itself on it's range of specialist machinery and excellent reputation. This is a company which will value your administration and coordination skills, as you will pay a pivotal role in the smooth running of the service department.
You will be responsible for completing a range of administration and coordination duties, working with the Parts Manager, Service Manager and coordinating the site visits of Plant Fitters in the field. You will also assist with various administrative duties across the business, including speaking with clients over the phone, and responding to enquiries. There will also be the long term potential to benefit from paid training courses and additional qualifications.
The role:

  • Office based 0700-1600 or 0800-1700 or 0730-1730 Mon to Fri
  • Completing Sign Up Paperwork for new customers
  • Sending out Plant Fitters into the Field to service and repair equipment
  • Raising Invoices
  • Assist the Service Manager to schedule Services
  • Assist the Parts Manager to order, manage and send out spare parts
  • Good at Diary Management of Field Engineers
  • Use Windows PCs to manage appropriate paperwork
  • Telephone conversations with Customers, Field Engineers and suppliers

The person:

  • Administrator / Coordinator, ideally with a background working for a technical / engineering company, or scheduling works for engineers
