Role Overview:
As a Casual Assistant Chef with GreycoatLumleys, you will have the opportunity to support our clients' culinary needs during busy times. Your role will involve assisting chefs, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist chefs with food preparation tasks, such as chopping, peeling, and portioning ingredients.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
Support chefs during service by plating dishes, garnishing, and ensuring timely delivery of orders.
Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and organizing supplies.
Follow food safety and hygiene procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions from chefs.
Level 2 Food safety
Ability to commute to West London.
Availability to start work from 5:30 in the morning on certain days.
