Hays Senior Finance are working with a fantastic West Lincolnshire company to recruit a Tax Accountant.
Your new role
This newly created role will see you responsible for all aspects of taxation for this dynamic, growing company in the UK and Europe, including the preparation of corporation tax returns and PSA's, tax accruals, duty declarations, monthly reconciliation of all tax and pension accounts, payroll taxes, UK VAT returns and reporting/reconciling returns with Europe as well as being the main point of contact for HMRC audits and internal tax audits in the UK and Europe. You will work with stakeholders across the business to communicate the tax implications of all business practices/projects and be up-to-date with a good working knowledge of tax laws/regulations. In addition, you will assist with monthly accounts preparation.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced tax professional with recent and relevant experience in UK corporate tax, VAT, tax accruals, pension reconciliations, payroll taxation and duty declarations. Knowledge of R&D, PSA and capital gains allowances would be highly beneficial. Experience of monthly accounts preparation would also be advantageous. You will be living within commutable distance of the Lincolnshire area as the role is office based.
