My client, a growing media company based in Central London are recruiting a pro-active and ambitious Financial Controller to join their Finance department and support the growth of the group.
This new position will report to the Finance Director and manage a team of four. The Financial Controller will interact closely with various departments across the company globally.
This key appointment will be ensuring that a robust financial and commercial control environment is maintained, whilst also driving financial and commercial value within the business.
Key Duties
- To build and maintain closer relationships with key clients ensuring greater understanding of financial systems and the resolution of any problems swiftly and amicably.
- Drive the preparation of management accounts and comprehensive board report schedules, guiding strategic decision-making processes.
- Deal with Audit requests
- Oversee revenue recognition processes, supported by meticulous documentation, to maximise financial performanceReview and Submission of payments run
- Managing a team of four
- Oversight of the general ledger and UK GAAP
- Spearhead the forecasting and budgeting initiatives, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and market dynamics
- Fixed asset management
- Future Planning and Analysis
Requirements
- Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Management experience
- Strong excel skills
- Commercial mind-set
