Description
The Finance Controller is responsible for managing all financial activities of the organisation, including financial reporting, budgeting, risk management, and compliance. This includes:
- Financial Reporting &Analysis
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Payroll Management
- Audit and compliance
- Management of a small staff team
- Cost Control
- System and Process improvement
They are particularly looking for a candidate that can improve business processes, look at profitability of contracts and make general financial and cost improvements.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the services industry.
- Solid knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
- Experience in an SME environment
- Process improvement experience
Job Offer
- A fixed term contract role of circa 9 - 12 months
- Salary of circa £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
